The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.86 dated 25.11.2019 at Police Station Bajakhana, District Faridkot under Sections 307, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

The FIR was lodged at the instance of Gurmeet Kaur, wherein it has been alleged that the petitioner Sukhchain Singh @ Chaina had caused an injury with the help of 'kapa' on the head of complainant's husband. 3.

The learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Sukhjit Singh, has informed that the parties indeed have entered into some amicable settlement. 5.
