(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the premise that petitioner No.1 has performed marriage with petitioner No.2 against the wishes of her parents and other family members and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance.

As per the affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, HQ, Nuh dated 31.03.2018/03.04.2018, both the petitioners are residing together after solemnizing their marriage.

CRM-M-4422-2018 -2Without examining the question of validity or otherwise of marriage of the petitioners, considering the fact that limited scope in this petition is for providing protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Mewat to look into grievance of the petitioners, if any, for providing protection to their lives and liberty.
