The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to issue her passport.

The petitioner applied for issuance of passport vide application dated 09.06.2022. An FIR No. 62 dated 24.05.2022, under Sections 379, 353, 186, 34 of IPC was registered against her at Police Station, Ghuman, District Batala. The proceedings with respect to aforementioned FIR are pending before trial Court.

On being confronted with Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Central Government, the petitioner seeks PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2024.05.06 02:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
