The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 11.02.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-1578-2026.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Animesh Sharma, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and contends that in compliance of order dated 11.02.2026, speaking order dated 13.04.2026 has been passed. The same is taken on the record. A copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.

A perusal of speaking order dated 13.04.2026 shows that order dated 11.02.2026 passed in CRWP-1578-2026 has been complied with. 5.

In view of the same, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged.
