KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner seeking protection from respondent Nos.5 to 15.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has already given application/representation (Annexure P-2) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, i.e. respondent No.2, in this regard but no action has been taken by the said police officer. He has contended that he will be satisfied if the aforesaid application/representation is considered by respondent No.2, in accordance with law.

Learned State counsel has no objection if it is ordered, VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2020.09.11 17:50

CRWP No.5537 of 2020 -2accordingly.

In the light of the aforesaid, this criminal writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application/representation (Annexure P-2), in accordance with law, within next one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order, by passing a speaking order.
