(Oral) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus for directing the respondents to conclude the enquiry initiated in pursuance to the charge-sheet dated 14.12.2022 (Annexure P-1) as the petitioner is due to superannuate on 30.06.2024 and due to pendency of the said disciplinary proceedings, junior to the petitioner has been promoted.

Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that disciplinary proceedings shall be concluded within a period of 03 months from today.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, the instant petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
