Petitioners are two of the three accused. They seek quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise.

It appears that the matter has not been compromised with the third accused.

Notice of motion to Advocate General, Punjab. On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Ms.Harpreet Kaur Athwal, DAG., Punjab, present in the Court. Copy given.

This petition is disposed of with a direction that the Investigating Officer shall record the statements of the complainant Bhim Singh or any other affected party and will form an opinion on the basis of the supplementary statements within a period of one month in case statements are voluntarily offered. On the basis of said

CRM-M-43256-2015 (O&M) supplementary statement, it will be open to the Investigating Agency to present cancellation report.

Counsel for the complainant Mr.Tarun Dhingra, Advocate, has intervened, at this stage, to support the petitioners' claim that the matter has been compromised. It is ordered that on presentation of cancellation report, it will be open to the complainant to furnish no objection in order to facilitate the acceptance of untraced/cancellation report.
