***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect his life and liberty as the petitioner apprehends threat to the same at the hands of the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged FIR No.19 dated 9.4.2022, Police Station Sudhar, District Ludhiana Rural, under Sections 452, 380, 427, 506, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, against the private respondents and that the private respondents have now been threatening him repeatedly so as to pressurize him to compromise the FIR in question.

( 2 ) CRWP-5200-2022 (O&M) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana Rural, Ludhiana, to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 30.4.2022 (Annexure P-2) examined, so that the same is disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law particularly as regards the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case it is found that the allegations levelled therein are well founded, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner.
