This petition has been preferred by the petitioners, under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 7 and to restrain them not to interfere in the personal life of the petitioners at the behest of respondents No. 4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation/complaint dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana against respondent Nos. 4 to 7 but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that they would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana to consider and decide the representation/complaint 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
