1. An application no.CM-16756-CWP-2023 has been filed for early hearing of the main case. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed.

2. The main case is preponed and is taken on board today itself.

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners frankly states that the prayer made by the petitioners, originally for their placement in the seniority list, has been accepted by the respondents and they have issued a final seniority list on 27.05.2016 placing the petitioners at their appropriate place. In view thereof, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

4. However, he submits that the consequential benefits of granting of appropriate pay fixation are required to be done.

5. Although there is no such prayer in the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the petitioners to make an appropriate representation to the State authority for the said purpose and the State is expected to pass speaking orders accordingly.

6. Writ Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
