On 03.08.2023, the following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the respondent relies upon judgment passed by Hon'ble The Supreme Court in S. Rama Krishna vs. S. Rami Reddy (D) by his LRs and ors., 2008(2) RCR (Criminal) 894, to oppose the petition and contended that in the present case on 25 occasions, the petitioner had remained absent before the trial Court, merely to prolong the agony of the respondent. Lower Court record be requisitioned for 29.08.2023. Date be notified to the learned counsel for the petitioner."
3.
As per office report, learned counsel for the petitioner has been informed about the date fixed. However, there is no representation on his behalf, despite the case having been called out twice. 4.
It appears the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present case.
