RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this court by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., invoking inherent jurisdiction of this court for appropriate direction to respondents no.2 and 3 for protection of their life and liberty.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that when the grievance of the petitioners was not being redressed, they approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon. (Ludhiana Rural)-respondent no.3 by moving a self contained representation dated 30.1.2015 (Annexure P-1), but the same is also pending decision. He further submits that the petitioners will be satisfied, in case respondent no.3 is directed to look into the matter and consider the grievance of the petitioners, within a reasonable time.

No.M-4330 of 2015 Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon-respondent no.3 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioners raised vide their representation dated 30.1.2015 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Respondent no.3 shall also examine the threat perception raised by the petitioners and if the same is found to be true, he shall also ensure that no harm is caused to the life and liberty of the petitioners. With the above said observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
