**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 126 dated 07.09.2017, under Sections 452, 354-B, 323 IPC, registered at Police Station Guruhar Sahai, District Ferozepur.

Mr. P.S. Dhaliwal, Advocate, puts in appearance and files power of attorney on behalf of the complainant. Pursuant to the order dated 16.11.2017, the petitioner has joined the investigation, which fact is not disputed by the State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amrik Singh.

At this stage counsel for the complainant submits that the complainant is facing harassment at the behest of the petitioner herein and had moved a representation to the DSP in this regard. Satyawan 2018.07.03 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-43380-2017 -2Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab submits that the said representation has already been looked into and the allegations have been found to be false.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 16.11.2017 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. However, it is made clear that in case the complainant herein feels any threat in any manner, she is at liberty to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
