Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the non-examination of the witnesses, especially, the complainant is causing prejudice to the petitioners as the petitioners have already undergone 1/3rd of the maximum sentence, which could be awarded to them keeping in view the allegations alleged in the FIR.
