RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to the respondent-investigation agency to conduct a free, fair and transparent investigation in case FIR No.0019, dated 13.02.2021, Annexure P-1, under Sections 323, 342, 406, 498-A, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur. This Court vide order dated 08.04.2022 had already directed the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation within one month, however, the same has not been concluded till date. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms.Sakshi Bakshi, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that the matter is still under investigation. In the interest of justice, last opportunity is granted to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation within 15 days from today in accordance with law.

Learned State counsel is directed to apprise the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police for compliance of this order. May 31, 2022 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
