ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.219 dated 18.07.2017 registered under Sections 323, 324, 326, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 324 and 326 IPC added later) at Police Station A-Division, District Amritsar.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, in pursuance to the order dated 16.11.2017, has already appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. It is further submitted that the matter stood compromised between the parties and the petitioner has already filed a petition i.e. CRM-M No.25102 of 2018 for quashing of the FIR on the basis of the compromise. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Narain Singh, has not disputed the factual position and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 16.11.2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
