Manjeet Singh v. State Of Punjab
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH ***** CRM-M No. 23967 of 2022 Date of Decision : 19.1.2023 Manjeet Singh ..... Petitioner versus State of Punjab and others ..... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA
Present:
Mr. R.S. Sekhon, Advocate, for Mr. G.S. Saini, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Jashandeep Singh, AAG. Punjab None for the complainant --- TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA J. (ORAL):
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in terms of the order dated 30.5.2022, Rs.25,000/- has been deposited in the complainant's account on 29.6.2022, as per photocopy of the deposit receipt. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Balbir Singh, states that pursuant to the order passed by this Court dated 30.5.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation, though some of the dowry articles remain to be recovered.
However, it is not clear as to what were those articles and when were they handed over to the petitioner. Besides, these facts are a matter of trial, and afford no ground to decline pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. In view thereof, the present petition is allowed. Interim order dated 30.5.2022, passed by this Court, is made absolute. (TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA) JUDGE 19.1.2023 Ashwani Whether speaking/reasoned:
