ORAL This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 78 dated 17.06.2020, registered under Sections 21(1), 4(1) of Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Act, 1957 and Section 139 of Electricity Act, 2003 at Police Station Kiratpur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 28.08.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel per his instructions from HC Gagandeep Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and in view of cooperation rendered by him, no custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 28.08.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
