Present:
Mr. Vikram Rathore, Advocate, for the petitioner.
**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for issuance of appropriate order or directions to Addl. Sessions Judge, Kurukshetra to release the petitioner on his personal bonds or permit the petitioner to furnish some other adequate security other than two local sureties as ordered by order dated 31.08.2017.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that by order dated 31.08.2017, the petitioner herein has been admitted to fresh bail on his furnishing personal bonds in the sum of ` 1,00,000/- with two local sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. However, the petitioner herein is permanent resident of Assam and is unable to furnish two local sureties. In this regard, it is argued that he may be permitted to furnish some adequate security instead of two local sureties. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the limited prayer made, this petition is disposed of in limine with a direction to the Addl. Sessions Judge, Kurukshetra to consider the Satyawan 2017.11.17 11:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
