--- *** H.S. Grewal, J. (Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 in case FIR No.57 dated 19.03.2025 under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 336(3) 338, 340, 61 of BNS, registered at Police Station Sector 14, Panchkula. 2.
This Court, vide order dated 09.04.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Agency, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 09.04.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and MAHIMA 2025.08.06 14:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Jora Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 06.05.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 09.04.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.
However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482(2) BNSS. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
