By this common order, CRWP No. 4485 of 2023 and CRM-M-29568 of 2021 are hereby adjudicated as both have arisen from same FIR. For the sake of brevity, facts are taken from CRWP No. 4485 of 2023.

The petitioner through the instant petition is seeking fair PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.05.29 19:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP- 4485 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:077845 and proper investigation of FIR No. 275 dated 02.08.2020, under Sections 420, 406, 463, 464, 467, 468, 471, 120-B, 384, 504, 506, 191, 192, 193 IPC, Section 66-D of Information and Technology Act, 2000 and Section 3 of Dowry Prohibition Act, registered at Police Station City Shri Muktsar Sahib, District Muktsar Sahib, registered at Police Station City, Shri Muktsar Sahib.

Status report by way of affidavit of Avtar Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Shri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Mukatsar Sahib on behalf of respondent No. 1 is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. 4.

Learned State counsel pointing out State reply submitted that police after conducting investigation has found no substance in the allegations of the petitioner and accordingly cancallation report has been prepared.

On being confronted with aforesaid fact, petitioner in person submits that State may be directed to file cancellation report within one month from today so that he may avail remedy as permissible by law including protest petition. 6.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, both the petitions are disposed of with a direction to investigating officer to file its report within 30 days from today and petitioner would be at liberty to avail remedy as permissible by law.
