**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 50 dated 27.5.2016 registered at Police Station Mullepur, Tehsil and District Fatehgarh Sahib under Sections 323, 354-B IPC and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that the FIR has been lodged since the girl's mother has separated from her husband and she has given her affidavit Annexure P-2.

On a query from the State counsel it is stated that the statement of the mother of the victim was not recorded. Petitioner is in custody since 27.5.2016. The trial will take time.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2016.12.19 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
