This application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act read with Section 151 CPC, has been filed on behalf of the applicantsappellants seeking condondation of delay of 51 days in filing the accompanying appeal.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and delay of 51 days in filing the accompanying appeal stands condoned.
Main Case (O&M) 3.
Learned Single Judge has allowed the writ petition filed by respondent No.1 insofar as claim of medical reimbursement was allowed only in part by the appellants.

It is undisputed that the son of respondent No.1 suffered from a serious heart ailment and was admitted to MGM Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Chennai where he underwent a heart transplant. The son, unfortunately, died the very next day. Medical bills were promptly submitted. As against the bills submitted for Rs.20,30,000/-, only an amount of Rs.10,08,246/- has been reimbursed. The learned Single Judge, relying upon the judgment of the Supreme Court in Surjit Singh vs. State of Punjab and others, (1996) 2 SCC 336, has allowed the writ petition and issued a direction to release the balance unpaid amount along with interest @6% per annum. A further direction has been given that if the amount is not paid within four weeks, then the interest would be enhanced to 9% per annum.

Though various submissions have been advanced on behalf of the appellants, we do not find any error in the view taken by the learned Single Judge either on facts or in law. 6.
In that view of the matter, the instant appeal is dismissed. 7.
The time to pay the balance amount is extended by a period of four weeks from today.

All pending misc. application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
