In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is for quashing of the order dated Nil (Annexure P-13) passed by respondent No.3Deputy Commissioner-Cum-Appellate Authority, by which, order dated nil (Annexure P-11) passed by respondent No. 4 and 5 has been upheld and the objection filed by the petitioner to draft electoral roll was dismissed. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that qua the grievance raised in the present petition, the petitioner has already moved various representations dated 23.03.2026 (Annexure P-14) and 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-16) but the same are still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order by affording due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. 3.

CWP-10766-2026 (O&M) respondent-State and submits that in case, representations dated 23.03.2026 (Annexure P-14) and 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-16) have been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same are still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order in accordance with law and by giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Further, he submits that in case, the petitioner is found entitled for grant of any relief, the same will be granted to it, otherwise due reasons for not accepting the claim of the petitioner will be mentioned in the speaking order and the said reasons will also be conveyed to the petitioner for its information and necessary action.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
