(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that it is second marriage of petitioner No.2 as he was earlier married to one Pooja Rani and has already obtained a decree of divorce in his favour vide judgment dated 17.02.2020 (Annexure P-3).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The contents of the petition along with Annexures thereof have been perused.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, with a direction to verify the contents of representation dated 27.07.2020 (Annexure P-5) seeking protection of life and liberty and if necessary, requisite steps be taken, in accordance with law for grant of protection of life and liberty to the petitioners.
