This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondent No. 2 to provide immediate and effective protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor children as well as to restore possession of the tenanted premises because private respondent No. 9 being an MC in connivance with other private respondents and to issue direction to respondent No. 2 to decide representation in a time bound manner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 10.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to consider and decide the representation representation dated 10.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
