Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 113 dated 20.7.2014, under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Bhargo Camp, Jalandhar.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Rakesh Kumar, has submitted that this petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has since been acquitted by the Trial Court.
