(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.160 dated 17.08.2017 registered under Sections 324, 323 and 34 IPC (Sections 325 and 326 IPC added later on) at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda. According to the prosecution, petitioner gave a teeth bite on the lower lip and dah blow on the left hand of injured Ranjit Singh, which has been declared grievous in nature.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that grievous injury allegedly suffered by Ranjit Singh is on his little finger of his left hand. Co-accused Baljit Singh and Sikander Singh have been granted anticipatory bail by the trial Court. Therefore, petitioner be also granted anticipatory bail treating his case on the same party as that of his coaccused. Considering overall facts and circumstances, petitioner does not deserve the concession anticipatory bail.

Dismissed.
