This Court while issuing notice of motion in this case, passed the following order on 22.12.2014:- "It is contended that petitioner's daughter Usha Rani contracted marriage with respondent No.4 - Sandeep against the wishes of the petitioner and her husband. Petitioner's daughter alongwith respondent No.4 have admittedly approached this Court in CRM No.M-35188 of 2014 seeking protection of their life and liberty. The said petition was disposed of on 13.10.2014. It is submitted that petitioner and her husband are not against the marriage contracted by their daughter with respondent No.4. On 17.12.2014, they have received phone calls from their daughter conveying that she is being tortured at the hands of respondents No.4.

In the meanwhile, respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hisar is directed to look into the matter and file a report before the next date of hearing."

Reply by way of affidavit dated 14.01.2015 of Satender Kumar IPS, Superintendent of Police, Hisar has been filed wherein it is stated that a detailed inquiry was conducted in this case and all the allegations levelled by the petitioner were found false.

Petitioner's daughter, Usha Rani and Ram Mehar son of Ran Singh, Member Panchayat as well as other respectable persons of village Koth Kalan got recorded their statements to the effect that there is no humiliation or harassment meted out to Smt. Usha Rani at the hands of her in-laws or respondent No.4. The said statements are attached alongwith the abovesaid affidavit as Annexures R1 to R3.

None has come present on behalf of the petitioner to controvert the reply filed on behalf of the State.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, no further order is called for at this stage.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.

However, liberty is afforded to the petitioner to move an appropriate application in case any fact to the contrary emerges. ( LISA GILL ) February 27, 2015.
