ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant family pensionwithout any monetary benefits in lieu of 21 years of regular service rendered by her husband as Driver in Haryana Roadways, Gurgaon Depot by converting his dismissal from service into compulsory retirement. She also seeks parity with similarly situated widow, namely, Bimla whose deceased husband served the department for 19 years as Driver.

A legal notice dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure P-15) was also caused by the petitioner, but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence the present petition.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending legal notice dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure P-15). 4.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending legal notice, as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the legal notice dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure P-15) of the petitioner and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
