RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is to decide the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 19.08.2022, 24.08.2022, 27.08.2022, 15.12.2022, 10.03.2023, and 14.03.2023, Annexures P1 to P4 and Annexures P-6 to P-7, respectively, to take appropriate action against the private respondents including registration of FIR and to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents.
It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation, dated 14.03.2023, Annexure P-7, is decided in a time-bound manner. It is further submitted that there is threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing the counsel for the parties, the present petition is MEENU 2023.05.09 12:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-23155-2023 -2disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the representation, dated 14.03.2023, Annexure P-7, and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from today. However, the State would ensure the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents. It is further ordered that decision of the representation would be communicated to the petitioner and the petitioner would have the liberty to approach the Court again, if so advised.
