Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of alleged detenue-Ramandeep Kaur, wife of the petitioner. 2.

On 06.05.2024, this Court passed the following order:- "Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3, at this stage. Ms. Manjot Kaur, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the aforesaid respondents and seeks time to have instructions and/or file written response in the matter.

Respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Police Station Giddarbaha, Sri Muktsar Sahib, is directed to file an affidavit about the whereabouts of alleged detenue-Ramandeep Kaur, daughter of respondent No.4-Baljit Singh.

In compliance of the aforesaid order, alleged detenueRamandeep Kaur has been produced in Court and apprised that she is not ATUL SETHI 2024.05.09 18:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-4035-2024 inclined to join the company of petitioner. Also stated that there is no pressure or threat from any quarter; rather she is willing to go to her parents. Copies of the Aadhar Card and statement of the alleged detenue recorded on 07.05.2024 by SI Deepika Rani, SHO, PS Kotbhai, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, are taken on record as Marks 'X' & 'Y', respectively. 4.

Faced with the above predicament, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, wishes to withdraw present petition at this stage with liberty to take recourse to the remedy available under law. 5.

Ordered accordingly.
