**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance which is being raised by the petitioner is that her husband, namely, Sh. Kulwant Singh, who was working as an Assistant Lineman with the respondents, unfortunately died on 27.06.2003 while in service, but till date no benefit of the service, which was rendered by her late husband, has been given to her. Further, petitioner is also claiming the benefit of ex-gratia and the benefit under the Haryana Compassionate Assistance to the Dependents of Deceased Government Employees Rules, 2006. Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice on 13.08.2018 (Annexure P-6), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be NARESH KUMAR 2019.05.15 11:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Notice of motion.
Keeping in view the advance copy given to the respondents, Mr. Charanjit Singh Bakhshi, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and he states that the respondents have no objection in case the prayer of the petitioner for deciding the legal notice dated 13.08.2018 (Annexure P-6) in a time bound manner is accepted.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 13.08.2018 (Annexure P-6) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
