Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner seeking directions to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is a complainant in case and he is being pressurized to withdraw the main case. Petitioner is not involved in any other case. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner has made a representation dated 2.8.2017 (Annexure P1) to respondent No.2-Inspector General of Police, Border Zone, Amritsar, but the same remained unattended till now. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Inspector General of Police, Border Zone, Amritsar, is directed to look into the representation dated 2.8.2017 (Annexure P1) and take required action, if any, as per law.
