The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation/legal notice dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-10) and to grant the benefit of the 7th Central Pay Commission/Haryana Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 to the petitioners on the same pattern on which the benefit of the 6th Central Pay Commission has already been extended vide order dated 12.08.2025 (Annexure P-8) and further, a writ in the nature of mandamus is prayed for directing the respondents to release all consequential benefits, including arrears, revised retiral benefits and interest, in

view of the similar order dated 26.04.2022 (Annexure P-4) and in compliance with the directions contained in order dated 21.01.2021 (Annexure P-3) passed by this Court in CWP No. 1344 of 2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioners at this stage submits that they would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-10), by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

Mr. Vikrant Pamboo, Addl. AG, Haryana, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondents No.1 and 2 and submits that he has no objection in case a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to hear and decide the decide the legal notice dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-10), by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

In view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of and respondent No.2 is directed to hear and decide the decide the legal notice dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-10), filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner and pass a speaking order, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.

Needless to say, if the petitioners are found entitled to the relief sought, the same be granted to them forthwith by respondents/competent authority.
