(ORAL) Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition for issuance of a writ especially in the nature of certiorari quashing the final result dated 03.03.2019 to the extent of non-selection of the petitioner on the post of Constable (Male)(IRB). The petitioner has pleaded that he has secured marks more than the last selected candidate in his category. Further writ in the nature of mandamus is also sought for directing the respondent to grant 5 additional marks for socio economic criteria as no one from the family of the petitioner is in government job.
Learned State counsel has produced on record letter dated 25.07.2021 in the context of recommendation made by the Competent Authority for the selection of the petitioner on the POONAM BHATT 2023.01.06 17:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this Judicial Record/Decree/Document, which is scanned copy of the original
CWP No.12054 of 2019 -2basis of re-scrutiny/re-examination of the documents of the petitioner and on the basis of written marks secured by the petitioner.
According to the aforesaid letter, in compliance of the order passed by the High Court in CWP No.5221 of 2019 titled Vikas Harsana vs. State of Haryana and others, the Commission has re-examined the documents of the petitioner along with others in respect of eligibility, marks for socio economic criteria and qualification for the post of Male Constable in pursuance of advertisement No.3/2018 Category No.3. On re-examination of the petitioner's document and on the basis of marks secured by him, the candidature of the petitioner has been recommended as he falls under selection zone and therefore he has been recommended for appointment to the aforesaid post. The appointment shall be subject to medical examination and other verifications.
