The main grievance which propelled the present petitioners to approach this Court by casting instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is the indolent and lackadaisical approach of the authority concerned, in not deciding their legal notice dated 08.01.2026 (Annexure P-7).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied, in case a mandamus is passed upon respondents, to take a final decision on their legal notice (supra), in a time bound manner.

In view of the above, and considering the prayer, as made by learned counsel for the petitioners, being innocuous and bona fide, this Court, without observing anything on the merits of the instant case, directs respondent authorities concerned, to take a final decision on the legal notice (supra), by passing a speaking order, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 5.

Disposed of accordingly.
