ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioners herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to issue gradation certificates to petitioners which has not been done despite repeated requests made vide representations dated 20.04.2022 (Annexures P-5 and P-6 respectively).

Both the petitioners being Outstanding Sports Person applied for issuance of Gradation Certificates to respondent No.3 on the duly prescribed pro forma but till date no action has been taken on the same. Hence, the petition.

Petitioners also submitted representations dated 20.04.2022 (Annexures P-5 and P-6 respectively) for issuance of Sports Gradation Certificates but the same have not been adverted till date. Hence, the petition.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representations dated 20.04.2022 (Annexures P-5 and P-6 respectively).

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners also seeks decision on the pending representations, as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the representations dated 20.04.2022 (Annexures P-5 and P-6) of the petitioners and pass administrative order, in accordance with law, within 30 days.
