(ORAL) Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks the concession of 'anticipatory bail' under the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., upon FIR no.67, dated 02.06.2021, having been registered at Police Station Rahon, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120-B of the IPC.

An affidavit dated 06.12.2021 has been filed by the DSP, SBS Nagar, which is ordered to be taken on record.

As per the said affidavit, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required after he joined investigation pursuant to the order of this court dated 28.07.2021.
