AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in the present writ petition is for directing the respondents to promote the petitioner on the post of Sub Inspector. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 08.01.2019 (Annexure P-5) within some specified time.

Without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, I deem it appropriate to dispose of present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide representation dated 08.01.2019 (Annexure P-5) by passing a speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
