RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners in case FIR No. 4 dated 07.01.2018 registered under Sections 307, 326, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 307 IPC has been deleted vide enquiry report Annexure P-2) and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act at Police Station B-Division, Amritsar.
Learned State counsel submits that petitioners have joined the investigation, but the revolver used in the commission of crime has to be recovered from co-accused Rustam Singh Chahal. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that a compromise has arrived at in between the parties and for quashing the impugned FIR, CRM-M-53724-2018 has also been filed before this Court in which notice of motion was issued for 01.02.2019. In view of the above and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, order dated 10.10.2018 passed by this Court is made absolute.
