The criminal miscellaneous application is allowed. Cr. Misc. No.M-44800 of 2018:

This petition has been filed under Section 439 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for extension of interim bail granted to the petitioner by the learned trial Court vide order dated 3.10.2018 (AnnexureP.4) in case FIR No.10 dated 17.8.2017 (Annexure-P.1) registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Flying squad-I, Punjab at Mohali, for the offences under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477-A, 201 and 120-B IPC HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2018.10.17 16:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-44800 of 2018 [2] and Sections 13(1)(d) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Notice of motion has been issued in this case. Ms. Monika Jalota, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that the petitioner is already on interim bail for 15 days due to the death of his only son in foreign country. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the dead body of the son of the petitioner will reach India on 20.10.2018 and then it will be cremated and other ceremonies are to take place and prayed for extension of interim bail for two months.

The learned State counsel has no objection to the extension of time.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and the fact that the the dead body of the son of the petitioner will reach India on 20.10.2018, therefore, the interim order already granted by the learned trial Court is extended upto 31.10.2018. The criminal miscellaneous petition is disposed of accordingly. October 17, 2018.
