***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.3 and 4 not to harass and humiliate him by frequently calling him to police station and detaining him there for hours under influence of respondent No.5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has instituted a civil suit against respondent No.5 and that respondent No.5, in order to pressurize the petitioner to withdraw the said suit, has been getting him harassed through respondents No.3 and 4, who have repeatedly been calling him to the police station.

( 2 ) CRM-M-24126-2022 (O&M) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 26.4.2022 (Annexure P-6) examined, so that the same is disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law particularly as regards the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case it is found that the allegations levelled therein are well founded, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that the petitioner is not unnecessarily harassed and that he is not harmed in any manner. A copy of this order alongwith representation dated 26.4.2022 (Annexure P-6) be sent to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla for necessary compliance.
