Petitioner was arrested in a general open FIR registered on the basis of a secret information that he had been dealing in fake currency notes and planning to commit dacoity at a petrol pump. The petitioner is not involved in any other case. He was allegedly found wearing uniform of a Constable having a revolver and three live cartridges. Recoveries have already been effected. The prosecution witnesses being police officials, the probability of tampering with the evidence is remote. Co-accused of the petitioner having been granted the concession of bail, the petitioner can also be released on bail in the present case as the challan has already been presented and the trial is likely to take a long time. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court subject to the conditions that he will not indulge in any similar activity of which he is accused of in the present case.
