*** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.115 dated 10.07.2018, registered under Sections 406, 420, 506, 120-B IPC, and Sections 24(1)(b), 24(1)(f), 24(1) (g) of Immigration Act, 1983 at Police Station Sadar, Jalandhar (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 01.10.2018 (P-2).
Pursuant to order dated 17.01.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 20.03.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.1313/G dated 25.03.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter bearing No.846 G/JRK dated SONIKA 2019.03.29 17:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh 26.03.2019.
CRM-M-44820 of 2018 --2-- According to the report, ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, is satisfied that respondent No.2/complainant has arrived at a compromise with petitioners/accused bonafidely, voluntarily, without any pressure or coercion and compromise is genuine and valid. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.
Considering the report of ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar dated 25.03.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.115 dated 10.07.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
Disposed of accordingly.
