JASWANT SINGH, J (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.180 dated 28.09.2015, under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 24 of the Immigration Act, registered with Police Station Phase-1, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab (Annexure P1). As per the allegations, the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.2 Lacs from two complainants for sending them to Malaysia and securing the Work Permits.
Learned state counsel, on instructions from ASI Jaspal Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation, however, recovery of Rs.1 lac is yet to be effected. He concedes that the complainants were sent to Malaysia, however, on Tourist Visa rather than Work Permits.
CRM-M-43820 of 2015 #2# Without commenting upon the merits of the case, interim pre-arrest bail granted by this Court, vide order dated 08.1.2016, is made absolute/confirmed.
Disposed of.
