Petitioner has preferred this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No.7 and 8. Learned counsel for the petitioner only prays for the relief that the representation dated 16.12.2015 (Annexure P-4), moved to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Shaib, by the petitioner be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition.

In view of above, respondent No.3/Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib is directed to look into the said representation (Annexure P-4) only for the purpose of protection of the petitioner from Karnail Singh and Charanjit Kaur (respondents No.7 and 8), within 2 months after receiving copy of this order, as per law. Further, if he (respondent No.3) is satisfied that there is serious threat to the petitioner, then to take appropriate steps, as per law. With aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of.
