******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 517 dated 02.10.2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC') at Police Station Sadar Fatehabad, District Fatehabad.

Heard.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Bhim Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation under order dated 12.01.2017 and his custodial interrogation is no more required. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and order dated 12.01.2017 is made absolute till the presentation of challan, subject to the following terms:- (i) that the petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by the police as and when required; (ii) that the petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make Jitender Kumar 2017.03.24 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH any inducement, threat or promise to any person
