(Oral) Counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent No. 9 has filed false complaints against the petitioners with the police at Jalandhar as well as Ludhiana. He further submits that petitioners are being unnecessarily harassed by the police officials of Jalandhar and Ludhiana and are being time and again called to different police stations with regard to the complaints lodged by respondent No.9 with regard to some time barred debt. It is further submitted that petitioners have already given representation(s) Annexure P-4 (collectively) to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and Senior Superintendent of Police, (Rural) Jalandhar as well but the police authorities have not paid any heed to the said representation(s). Counsel for the petitioners further submits that petitioners will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to the concerned police authorities to look into the matter and to consider and decide representation(s) Annexure P-4 (collectively) in a time bound manner, in accordance with law.

In view of above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and respondent No. 4 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, (Rural) Jalandhar to consider and decide representation(s) Annexure P-4 (collectively) in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
