The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners; to create/sanction appropriate posts for the purpose of regularization of the services of the petitioners and to grant them all consequential benefits arising out of regularization; to grant pensionary and other retiral benefits to them by counting their entire length of service; not to terminate the services of the petitioners or replace them with another set of daily wage/contractual employees and to grant wages to them at least equal to the minimum of the regular pay scale of the corresponding post.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to first approach the competent authority for claiming the relief as has been claimed in the present petition.
